Cancellation & Refund Policy
The decision to cancel the tour would be deeply regretted. However, we realize that there are many valid reasons that are unavoidable and in that case cancellation must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received by Footloose Yatra Consultants except Sunday.
The following cancellation charges will apply:
- If cancellation is 45 days or more prior to arrival- 50% of the deposited amount towards ‘Tour cost” shall be refunded.
- If cancellation is between between 45 days to 30 days prior to arrival – 30% of the deposited amount towards “Tour Cost” shall be refunded
- If cancellation is within 30 days prior to arrival – No Refund
In other words, if the 100 % amount of package cost deposited in advance, then refund policy would be as below:
- If the tour was cancelled 45 days prior to the commencement of the tour 10% cancellation of the total value of package cost would apply i.e. 90% refund.
- If the tour was cancelled 45 days to 30 days prior to the commencement of the tour 35% cancellation of the total value of package cost would apply i.e. 65% refund.
- If a tour is cancelled within 30 days prior to the commencement of the tour 50% cancellation of the total value of package cost would apply i.e. 50% refund.
Cancellation of Flight Tickets:
If flight tickets are booked based on minimum airfare, with special airfare, and basis non refundable fare then there would be no refund. Name changes and date change can be considered as per the rules stipulated by the airline. Cancellation charges may change timely hence you are requested to collect information of cancellation charges before you book.
Cancellation of train Ticket:
Cancellation received 30 days prior to departure of train – 50% of the fare would be refundable. Cancellation received within the 30 days prior to departure of train – No refund.
Cancellation of Wildlife Safaris:
Wildlife safaris booked into any of the Indian Wildlife National Park and Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change requests will be considered as cancellation and there is no provision of refund / adjust against any booking.
Refund:
If there are any unused / unutilized services (which were paid for and cancelled in advance) will be refunded back as per the above company policy. Money will be refunded in the same mode of payment received and the person who has made the payment. Please make a note that the refund process may take 2-4 weeks or more due to banking procedures. If there are any banking / credit card transaction charges in refunding the money would be debited in your refund amount.
Cancellation & Refund Policy – Customized Vacations:
All customized tour arrangements are governed by cancellation and refund terms applicable to the specific travel period and services booked. These terms will be clearly stated in the final quotation shared at the time of confirmation. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with the conditions outlined therein.
Force Majeure Clause:
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under this Agreement due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, government restrictions, pandemics, wars, civil unrest, or natural disasters.
Notice: The affected party must notify the other as soon as possible
Impact: If a Force Majeure event prevents the operator from providing the tour, the Company may cancel or reschedule the tour.
Refunds/Credits: In such cases, the Company will refund the amount paid minus direct costs already paid to third parties (hotels, airlines, local operators) that are non-refundable to the Company. The Company is not responsible for non-refundable costs paid by the client directly.
